Oceania Masters Championships Announced for 2025

Published Fri 08 Nov 2024

Oceania Masters Athletics (OMA) has announced today the dates for the next OMA Championships, being held for masters age athletes from the 22 member countries in the Oceania–South Pacific region.

OMA President Cam Burrows said the OMA Championships will take place in Brisbane from 6-10 September, 2025, at the State Athletics Facility at Nathan, part of Queensland’s premier athletics facility, QSAC.

The event will be held over five days, and will attract a large number of masters competitors from the Oceania region.

This event now returns the OMA Championships to being held every two years, in the alternate year to the World Masters Athletics (WMA) Outdoor Championships, as was the tradition pre covid.

Further details will be posted over the coming months,  on the new Oceania Masters Athletics website, at www.oceania-masters-athletics.org, and on their social media on facebook at Oceania Masters Athletics and on instagram at oceaniamastersathletics
