Records
For an athlete to claim a NSW record, they must be a current financial member of NSW Masters Athletics Association at the time of the event. As a financial member of our state body, an athlete is also eligible to be recognised in setting or breaking National AMA, Oceania OMA or World WMA Masters records. Make sure you are covered for the full season by getting your registration done by the 1st September each year.

Procedure for claiming a State Record/AMA National Record
To apply for a State record and Australian record that you claim to have set or broken please print off the State/Australia Records Application Form.
Once completed, please send to our Records Officer at records@nswmastersathletics.org.au
The National record application will then be forwarded to the National Statistician.

Procedure for claiming a WMA World Record
Applications for World Records are to be made on the form located at the World Masters Athletics website.
Send the completed application and supporting documents to National Masters Affiliate in your country. Records will be ratified and sent to WMA Regional Records Coordinator.
The record must be accompanied by a Birth Certificate or other proof of age.
